Wow, that's so great the IUD is working that well for you. And what a shit show people have to go through to get the PMDD diagnosis. I imagine many women just give up and endure and despair, if it takes that much tenacity - who has the nerve for that?!? And yes, "less stress" is always easier said than done...
Just like many female-only health conditions (endometriosis is another one), the research has been painfully slow. It's so much easier to frame women's pain and suffering as "bitches being crazy" and making a few jokes about "that time of the month".
My daughter had laporoscopic surgery done a while ago, and they sent her home with 20 morphine pills. After her c-section? They gave her one.
20 pills for the tiniest incision, one for a wound that cut through 7 layers of tissue.
